Why subtle prompts win
Big, vague requests ("make it epic") force the engine to invent motion, and invented motion is where faces drift and hands multiply. Prompts that name one or two small movements and explicitly freeze everything else keep the frame faithful to the photo. "Stationary camera" and "background stays still" are the two phrases that do most of the work.
Length matters too. Five seconds of believable motion beats fifteen seconds of wandering. Generate short, then use the video extender to continue the clip if the first result is right.
Keeping the face identical
Add a consistency line to any prompt: "Keep the same face, hairstyle, outfit and body proportions as the photo." The engines treat it as a constraint, not decoration. For products, name the label or shape you need preserved.
If the result still drifts, reduce the motion, shorten the clip, or switch to a stationary camera. Camera moves multiply small errors; a still camera hides them.

- Does the face stay the same as the photo?
- With a subtle prompt and a stationary camera, yes. Add "keep the same face, hairstyle and outfit as the photo" to make it explicit. Large motion and fast camera moves are what cause drift.
- Which photos work best?
- Sharp, well-lit images with the subject clearly separated from the background. Portraits, product stills, landscapes and artwork all animate well; heavy blur or very low resolution does not.
