Bats In The Belfry Blues (Halloween Rock Playlist)

[Verse 1]
Got a midnight call, something's not right
Bats in the belfry, giving me a fright
Flapping wings, screeching high
I ain't superstitious, but I can't deny

[Chorus]
Bats in the belfry, got the blues tonight
Gonna need a light, and a little more might
Bats in the belfry, they're on the loose
Got my heart racing, I'm feeling the juice

[Verse 2]
Called the pest guy, he's out of town
Told me to chill, don't let it get me down
But I hear them scratching, up in the tower
I swear they're laughing, mocking my power

[Chorus]
Bats in the belfry, got the blues tonight
Gonna need a light, and a little more might
Bats in the belfry, they're on the loose
Got my heart racing, I'm feeling the juice

[Bridge]
Hammer in hand, flashlight in grip
I'll show those critters, no time for a slip
Horns blare, as I step into the fray
Swinging and swatting, they'll fly away

[Chorus]
Bats in the belfry, got the blues tonight
Gonna need a light, and a little more might
Bats in the belfry, they're on the loose
Got my heart racing, I'm feeling the juice
