A private AI chat: your conversations stay on your device

Most AI chat apps save every conversation on their servers. GoCrazyAI AI Chat does not. Your history lives in your own browser, our server only relays each message to the model, and the provider never learns who you are.

    Chats, titles and Project instructions are stored in your browser. Each message travels over an encrypted HTTPS connection.

  2. GoCrazyAI relay

    Passes it on, keeps no text

    Checks your plan, charges the credit and forwards the message. No words are written to our database or logs.

  3. AI model

    Sees the message, not you

    Alibaba Cloud or BytePlus runs the model. They receive the request from GoCrazyAI with no name or email attached.

What our server keeps

Only what billing needs

  • That a message was sent, and when
  • Which model answered it
  • How many credits it used, for your balance and refunds
  • Whether it had an image or video attached (not the file or its link)

What our server never keeps

Not in the database, not in the logs

  • The text of your messages
  • The text of the replies
  • Chat titles and Project instructions
  • A history we could read, share or hand over

  • Saved only on your device

    Your chat history, chat titles and Project instructions are stored in this browser. They are not stored on GoCrazyAI servers.

  • Relayed, not stored

    Our server passes each message to the AI model and streams the reply back to you. It does not keep the text of either one.

  • Your identity stays with us

    The model provider receives the conversation from GoCrazyAI, never your name, email address or account details.

  • Not used for training

    Alibaba Cloud and BytePlus, who run the models, state that they do not use API data to train their models.

  • Delete means deleted

    Delete one chat or all of them and they are erased from this device. There is no GoCrazyAI copy to recover.

Good to know

  • Chats do not sync between devices. A chat started on your phone stays on your phone.
  • Clearing your browser data, or using a private window, erases your chats for good.
  • Images and videos you attach are uploaded to GoCrazyAI storage so the model can open them. The chat itself stays on your device.
  • Every message passes an automated safety check before it reaches the model. The check stores nothing.

In detail

Where chats are saved
Only in this browser. There is no copy on our servers.
What we keep
Billing only: the time, the model and the credits used. Never the words.
The AI model
Receives each message from GoCrazyAI, without your name or email, under the provider's own privacy terms.
AI training
We never use your chats to train AI. Our model providers state they do not train on API data.
Deleting
Deleting a chat, or clearing your browser data, removes it for good. We cannot recover it, because we never had it.
Other devices
Chats do not sync between devices. That is deliberate.
Temporary chat
Not saved anywhere, not even in this browser. Gone when you close it.
Attachments
Images and videos you attach are uploaded to GoCrazyAI storage so the model can open them.
Voice dictation
Uses your browser's own speech service. In Chrome, audio is processed by Google. Type instead if you prefer.

Privacy questions

Only billing records: that a message was sent and when, which model answered, how many credits it used, and whether an image or video was attached. The text of your messages, the replies, chat titles and Project instructions are never stored on our servers.

In the browser you chat in, using its built-in storage. It never leaves your device except when you send a message, and then only the recent turns of that one chat travel to the model.

A chat that is not saved anywhere, not even in your browser. Turn on Temporary chat above the message box. Start a new chat or leave the page and it is gone.

No. Alibaba Cloud and BytePlus receive each request from GoCrazyAI, with no name, email address or account details attached. The provider processes the message under its own privacy terms.

No. We never have a copy. If you delete a chat, or clear your browser data, it is gone for good.

Yes. Open the privacy panel in AI Chat and choose Export my chats. The file is built in your browser and downloaded straight to your device.

Because they are only stored where you wrote them. Syncing would mean keeping a copy on our servers, and we chose not to.
