AI Nasheed: Vocal Songs for Ramadan, Eid and Daily Reflection

A nasheed is a vocal piece: one or more voices, sometimes a frame drum or hand claps, and nothing else. The albums on this page keep to that form. They cover Ramadan evenings, Eid mornings, dua and gratitude, the months of the Islamic year and the quiet of dawn, written for adult listeners and gatherings.

Every track was generated from a written brief and published with the brief beneath it. The briefs never set Quran to melody, never voice a prophet or companion, and never use the vocabulary of other traditions. They are songs of reflection and celebration, in the nasheed tradition.

What makes a nasheed brief work

Say the occasion, the theme and the arrangement. "A dawn nasheed about gratitude for a new day, solo male voice with a soft duff rhythm, slow and unhurried" is complete. Always state "vocal nasheed, no instruments, hand percussion only" so the arrangement stays true to the form.

Themes that work well: the mercy in an ordinary day, breaking the fast together, the first morning of Eid, patience, kindness to parents, the beauty of the created world. Keep the language modest and warm.

What the albums never do

No Quran verses set to melody, no quoted ayat, no first-person voice of any prophet or companion, and no sectarian or political content. Stories are told in the third person, with respect. This is a fixed rule of the engine, not a preference.

Cover art stays free of people and legible text: geometric patterns, lanterns, dates, mosques at dusk, night skies.

Arrangement and voice

Choose between a solo voice, a small group in unison, or call and response. Add a duff or hand claps for Eid and celebration tracks; leave them out for reflection and dua pieces. Tempo matters: 60 to 70 BPM for reflection, 95 to 110 for celebration.

Languages: English, or English with Arabic words such as Allah, salah, dua, iftar and Eid, each kept in its natural form.

From an album to your own nasheed

Open an album, press play and read the brief for any track. The "Make your own version" link opens the composer with that style line filled in. Change the occasion and the theme, keep the arrangement rule, and the result is a new nasheed for your gathering.
